Leaves pulled downward ~
Trees bent over ~
Unseen forces act upon our lives.
If tides and ovum,
Then perhaps moods and fate;
Human interactions and
A host of other things.

Not sure what precipitated this poem. But, I’ve always been amazed that the moon pulls oceans onto and away from shores AND has an effect on women’s menstrual cycles.
